How does Wolk work?
Wolk has 3 movement sensors. These sensors recognise the fall and ensure the airbag is filled with air before the wearer hits the floor. After the fall, the airbag deflates slowly.
What are the costs?
Wolk costs 549 euros inclusive of VAT. A replacement inflator, including washing and system checks costs 99 euros including VAT.
Which size is correct?
Wolk comes in 3 sizes, S, M and L. The correct size can be found by measuring your lower body just below the waist (approx. 1 hand’s width below the navel).
S: 90 to 105 cm
M: 100 to 115 cm
L: 110 to 125 cm
How will Wolk be delivered?
Wolk is delivered by PostNL package delivery. Delivery is within 5 working days, providing we have stock.
Can I use Wolk immediately?
Yes, the battery is fully charged upon delivery. Wolk also comes with a clear instruction manual, so that you can start using it straight away.
How can I pay for Wolk?

The webshop supports the following payment methods:

  • iDEAL
  • CreditCard (Mastercard, Maestro, VISA, AmericanExpress, VPAY, Cartes Bancaires and CartaSi)
Will I get my money back if I don’t like using Wolk?
If you are not happy with Wolk, or if you are not sure: please contact Wolk customer service. We would like to hear from you and help you the best we can. We will do our utmost to answer your questions or resolve your issues.

If you return Wolk, you will receive a refund within 14 days. A refund will only be given if Wolk is undamaged. Normal signs of use are not a problem.

How can I return Wolk?
Call or e-mail Wolk customer service and inform us of your reason for return. We will provide you with a returns number, for our administration. If possible, we would prefer if you return the product to Wolk in its original packaging (address will be shared in correspondence with customer service). We will bear the cost of the return; we will add the postage costs to your refund

Who is Wolk suitable for?
Wolk has been developed with and for seniors who have noticed that they are losing their balance more often, and those who stumble or (nearly) fall. This may be in combination with bones becoming more vulnerable. Those people who may be at risk of a hip fracture.
People who want to stay active without limitations.
Several users have said they feel more protected when wearing Wolk. It has given them more confidence and made them more mobile.

Specifically, Wolk is ideal for people who:
– Are working on rehabilitation
– Suffer from Parkinson’s disease
– Suffer from Osteoporosis or Osteopenia
– Experience dizzy spells/fainting
– Have muscle weakness
– Have reduced sight/trouble judging depth and distance, such as thresholds or steps
– Have reduced balance
– Have undergone a hip replacement/have a hip prosthesis

Is Wolk safe?
Wolk is CE approved; this means that the product is safe and meets European guidelines. Various practical tests have been carried out, resulting in optimised ease of use and operation of the belt.
Can I cycle while wearing Wolk?
Wolk can’t guarantee protection during cycling.
Is Wolk proven to be effective?
Wearing Wolk offers protection of the hips in the event of a fall, but does not protect any other parts of the body. Although 10 instances of falls have been successfully cushioned by Wolk, it has not been scientifically proven that Wolk prevents hip fractures.
Could it be that people fracture a hip which causes the fall?
This is a possible situation, but extremely rare according to trauma surgeons. In any case, Wolk would ensure a softer landing.
What should I do in case of a fall?
If you had a fall and the airbags did their job, the Inflators should be replaced and Wolk should be checked over. Contact Wolk customer service after a fall, so that we can arrange for your Wolk to be returned to us. The costs of replacing the Inflator, checking Wolk, cleaning and the return service are €99, including P&P.
Will Wolk fit underneath my clothing?
Yes, Wolk has been designed to fit comfortably beneath your clothes Do ensure that the tabs are pulled smoothly over your hips and do not ruck up when you put on your trousers/skirt.

You can choose to wear Wolk under or over your underwear.

The airbags inflate to a thickness of 5 cm. This will not damage your clothing.

Can I wear Wolk at night?
Yes, you can sleep while wearing Wolk. The advantage is that you remain protected in case of falling out of bed or as soon as you get out of bed.
How many days will a charged battery last?
Wolk offers 2 days of protection on a full charge. Wolk can be charged using the charger included. The light on the Wolk indicates the charge on the battery. Read the instruction manual for more information.
How does the alarm work?

Wolk can send an alarm in case of a fall. To enable this, you should always have a smartphone nearby. Download the ‘Wolk’ app from the Apple iOS store or Google Play store and follow the instructions. See also the instruction manual included
Is Wolk washable?
Certainly! The belt is completely machine washable at 40 degrees. For more information on washing instructions, see the instruction manual included.

Service & Guarantee

How can I be sure that Wolk is working properly?
Wolk has been tested extensively, in the laboratory and by test users. Wolk has also been comprehensively tested and approved for CE marketing by independent testing institute Rico-Test (see also  www.wolkairbag.com/onderzoek/)

Please be careful always, wherever you go. No airbag can protect you from every fall and prevent (serious) injury at all times.
